Testimonials — Some of Paul's Broadway Clients

Aside from being an incredible musician and vocal technician, the fact that Paul is also an artist, director, and performer adds an extra layer of insight and compassion that really leaves me feeling supported enough to do my best work. He has a real understanding of what they’re looking for in the room and has coached me on every musical theater audition I’ve had in NYC: 9 times out of 10 it led to a call back or better. Like starring in Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812!

For years, Paul Lincoln has been my go to for audition prep and making sure my voice and acting chops are ready to book the gig. He has worked with me countless times, hopping in a pinch for last minute fine tuning of my vocal and acting choices, getting me ready for extremely high profile jobs. He is kind, patient and tactful. His direction and care always elevate my performances (and confidence, when I need it) and I truly believe he has helped cause my booking ratio to go way up! We have done everything from filming auditions, to song choices, vocal coaching to help me deal with being sick or fatigue and still having to perform. We even go over my scene work to make sure the whole audition or performance is coming together to impress and take my work to new heights. I can’t recommend Paul enough to get your voice, audition and performance to peak professional levels. I am so lucky and grateful to have him as vocal coach, good luck charm and friend!
— Krystal Joy Brown, Eliza in Hamilton, Gussie in Merrily, Dianna Ross in Motown etc.
Most recently in the projects on which Paul has coached me, he helped me secure finalist status at the legendary Actor’s Studio w a STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE scene. Thnx, Mr Lincoln!

I love coaching with Paul not only because he is amazing at what he does but also because he creatives an open environment for actors to do their work. He really listens to what you want to accomplish with your time and helps not only with vocal technique, but also with creating a character and intentions all through the sound of your voice. I never feel self conscious or judged...and always feel confident about my audition when I leave...and THAT is priceless!

When I got my first audition for Jasmine, I went straight to Paul

Wow! Paul is everything! Amazing, the bomb, all that, etc etc! I started seeing Paul to broaden my range and help build my confidence as a solo singer. I saw drastic improvement during the first lesson so I’m now seeing him weekly.
I’ve been singing for most of my life but haven’t been consistent with lessons and developed some bad habits over the years that had me using a fraction of my voice and range; combined with less frequent singing over the last year has caused me to become self conscious and timid/reserved when I do sing. He helped me rediscover my range and power and gave great tips to keep in mind and bring me back when I slip into old habits with air placement. He has a wealth of knowledge and creates a comfortable safe space to work through the kinks. Highly recommend!!

Paul Lincoln’s knowledge of vocal technique helped me sing safely and sound better. His coaching of a song helped me find the character I was playing and made my performance so much more alive. He is a true artist and a teacher and a coach all wrapped in one. I highly recommend working with him- he makes it fun, artistic, and I walk away every time having learned something new.
